Suggestions for Further Reading

For readers interested in exploring philosophical ethics in greater depth, I would suggest that you consider taking an introductory ethics course at your local university or community college. It tends to be easier and more fruitful to study these issues under the guidance of a teacher and in conjunction with fellow students. With that in mind though, I offer the following somewhat eclectic list of readings as a starting point for further investigation into ethics and morality. Most are books I consulted in one way or another during the writing of Choosing the Right Thing to Do; nearly all of them have useful bibliographies that can lead the interested reader deeper into the field.217
