The Linux Development Environment
By this point in this book, the capabilities of ChromeOS have been made more than evident. It provides many of the tools and features you’d expect from a widely adopted operating system (OS). Additionally, as the world’s first commercially successfully Cloud-First operating system, it also boasts many features not present in traditional operating systems. However, in its native state, ChromeOS does have a major limitation: the inability to install and use full software applications and the tools used to develop them.
