Time for action – creating a chair

Every office needs some place to sit, so let's combine a couple of things we've learned so far and pick up a couple of new techniques in order to create a modern chair to add to our office.

  1. Let's first create the seat for the chair. Create a Cube object with dimensions (55 cm, 55 cm, 2 cm). Change the Segments Y field to 80. This will give us enough geometry to make smooth curves on our seat, as shown in the following screenshot:
