Time for action – timeline animation

The tools we've learned so far have all been accessed through default palettes in the Startup Layout. For animation, we need an additional palette, the Timeline. You can navigate to the timeline in two different ways: by changing your layout to the Animation layout (Window | Customization | Layouts | Animation), or, if you've customized your layout and don't want to lose the way you've moved things, you can simply navigate to Window | Timeline and open the timeline in a new, detached palette, or you can change your layout to the Animation layout (Window | Customization | Layouts | Animation), as shown in the following screenshot:
