Animatable properties

So far, we've discussed animation in terms of position, scale, and rotation. One of the strengths of Cinema 4D is that almost any property of an object can be animated! Select any object in your scene—we'll use our outdoor sunlight as an example—and let's examine its properties from an animation perspective.

Animatable properties

The open circles to the left of all the properties shown in the preceding screenshot represent an animatable property. This means you can animate Color and Intensity of the light over time, as well as change Type and turn off and on various checkboxes.
