Time for action – making the gears turn

Now that you have your clock created, let's dive in and begin animating it.

  1. Select the minute hand in the Objects Manager and add an XPresso tag (Tags | Cinema 4D Tags | XPresso). Double-click on the tag to open the XPresso editor. We're going to link all of our animation together with the minute hand of the clock. Let's begin by clicking and dragging the minute hand of the clock into our XPresso editor.
  2. Drag the hour hand and all the cogs you created into the window as well. We'll be linking them all together, but their organization isn't important for now.
