Time for action – XPresso and MoGraph

XPresso and MoGraph are both incredibly popular tools on their own. However, all parameters of MoGraph objects can also be used in expressions. Imagine you wanted to create a Grid Cloner where the spheres inside would always be small enough to not intersect, regardless of how many clones there are inside it.

  1. Create a sphere and nest it inside a Grid Cloner. Their dimensions don't matter for now, as we'll be defining some of their characteristics through XPresso.
  2. Drag your Cloner and your Sphere into the XPresso Editor:

  3. Create a Math node and set it to Divide. Add a third input port:
