Introduction to dynamics – bowling

The basic component behind dynamics in Cinema 4D is the collision. A collision occurs when two dynamic objects touch each other and interact. The objective is to try to set up your 3D objects to behave like the objects they represent when they collide, by tweaking their parameters to get the correct dynamic motion. This brings us to the bowling alley for our recipe. The most obvious collision you think of is the bowling ball smacking into the pins, but there's also a collision between the ball and the lane when it rolls, or perhaps with the gutter if you aren't very good. Collisions occur when the pins hit each other or land on the ground as well, and we need to set up the dynamics right so every object behaves ...
