Server Operations
Introduction
Historically, introducing new tools and platforms has forced a shift to a new operational model, which can bring complexity and lead to disruptions in business continuity. Intersight has taken a unique approach with respect to server form factors and server management. Whether a Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) server is deployed as a standalone rack mount or as a Fabric Interconnect–attached blade, all day-to-day operations of the server can be performed from Intersight. Intersight is often referred to as the front door for UCS server operations, providing a single-entry point for control and configuration.
