19.5. Configuring Wireless Clients
I am now going to take you through the configuration of a Cisco client adapter. You can get a couple of different types of adapters depending on your needs: a CardBus, a PCMCIA card, is available for laptops or a PCI card can installed in a desktop.
The Cisco 802.11a/b/g wireless client adapters are supported by Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.
The Cisco Aironet 802.11a/b/g Wireless LAN Client Adapters (CB21AG and PI21AG) support IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, and IEEE 802.11g (2.4GHz and 5GHz).
Two LED indicators, LED0 and LED1, provide information about the state of the adapters, as described in Table 19.3
