Multipoint TelePresence extends the virtual meeting experience, allowing three or more CTS endpoints to participate in a single conference. Cisco Multipoint TelePresence uses a centralized switching model where each CTS endpoint sends unicast audio and video streams to a multipoint switch. The multipoint switch mixes the streams and transmits audio and video streams back to each CTS endpoint. Figure 13-1 shows the components involved in a multipoint meeting.
