What Are the Unified CVP Functional Deployment Models?

A basic understanding of the functional deployment models should be established because they are referenced in this chapter. Following is a list and brief definition of each Unified CVP Functional Deployment model:

Standalone: Deployed to accomplish self-service IVR requirements only, this model does not invoke any call control and or have integration with Unified ICM or CCE for queuing or call delivery to available agents. It provides a standalone VRU implementation for CVP.

Call Director: Mostly deployed to accomplish IP switching services only. This model is useful if you want to accomplish the following:
