332 Chapter 10: Typical Configurations and Deployment Models
During Unity installation when the Exchange 2000 partner server is selected, Unity
essentially joins the Exchange 2000 admin group the partner server resides in. Unity then
creates the special Unity default location object in Active Directory and also creates the
other Unity objects. It can then service mailboxes in the Administrative group where its
partner server is installed. Again, it can also service mailboxes in other admin groups
as well.
Earlier Unity documentation stated that each Unity server can support only five mail stores.
