Step 10: Define Legacy Distribution Lists
The last step is to document the legacy distribution lists and membership. Now this could
prove to be somewhat of a challenge for a large environment. It is not a reasonable
expectation for an architect to write down the names of 500 members of a distribution list.
Especially when you consider that there could be several distribution lists of this size, or
larger, in an organization. For now, you should get a rough idea of how many distribution
lists exist, their names, extensions, what their purpose is, and how vital they are to the
organization.
