The information that the router needs resides within a mail connection document. Figure 14-7
shows an example of a mail-routing document. The document indicates the starting and
ending servers for mail routing, the method to use (network protocol, dialup, and so on),
and what schedule applies. Mail-routing documents are one-way. For mail to route from
MailSvrA/Engineering/Acme to MailSvrA/Sales/Acme and vice versa, two documents
must exist, one for each direction.
