The integration file can be broken down into the following components:
Keywords. The keywords are the variables spoken of earlier. They are the fields or
containers that hold data from a packet; the keywords by themselves are not data. By
stringing keywords together in different patterns, one can form multiple serial-packet
definitions. When an incoming serial packet is parsed, or an outgoing packet is gen-
erated, data (ASCII characters in our case) fill these keywords to produce the major
contents of a packet. The parser recognizes a default set of keywords, and these key-
