AVCsGateway
The gateway service does what its name implies: It acts as a gateway into the main Unity
components that run under the AVCsMgr component. All outside applications that want to
connect to the Data Object Hierarchy (DOH, a wrapper around the directory and messaging
interfaces—see the later section “Data Object Hierarchy”) or any other component running
under AVCsMgr must authenticate with the gateway first. The AVSADBConn component
running under Internet Information Services (IIS), used by the ASP pages to produce the
