Before you begin the examples in this section, read Chapter 2 and Chapter 3. All the
examples here assume you know what is meant by having to synchronize data between SQL
and the directory, how all the collections and sub-collections in the database are used, how
objects are linked together, and so on. You will have difficulty gleaning useful information
here if you do not understand those basics.
We start with the simple connection basics; then we progress to some fairly easy read-only
exercises. Finally, we end with more advanced subscriber creation, import, modification,
and deletion scenarios.
