Programming concepts

Programs are commonly developed and written as human-readable scripts in one of many programming languages. These scripts must then be converted into a language suitable for the processor that must execute the program. Processors can only understand machine language, so the human-readable scripts are converted into machine language by using one of two techniques. Machine language is not human readable.
