Logging administrative changes to a XenApp Farm

This recipe will show you how to configure CXA Configuration Logging to keep track of all administrative changes made to the XenApp Farm configuration.

Getting ready

To configure Citrix XenApp Configuration Logging, an SQL database must be created in advance with a corresponding service account that is configured with the db_owner role membership.

How to do it...

To configure Configuration Logging, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Citrix XenApp management console AppCenter by navigation to Start | Administrative Tools | Citrix | Management Consoles.
  2. Right-click on XenApp | <FarmName> and select Farm properties.
  3. Select Configuration Logging on the left pane.
  4. Click on Configure Database... on the right pane.
