Using Citrix® Auto Support to troubleshoot a XenApp® server

This recipe will show you how to use Citrix Auto Support to analyze a XenApp server logfile generated by the preferred Citrix Scout tool.

Getting ready

To use the online Citrix Auto Support you must have a MyCitrix account to log on and upload a logfile. You can create a MyCitrix account for free.

How to do it...

To use Citrix Auto Support, follow these steps:

  1. Download Citrix Scout from Citrix's Knowledge Center at http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX130147.
  2. Unzip the downloaded file to a folder on the XenApp server.
  3. Double-click run.exe to start Scout (click on Run if any security warning is shown).
