Let’s take Stuart, for example. Stuart came to work with us shortly after Donna. At that time, whenever we got a listing, Marta would order a post to be installed and I would go out and hang the sign and install the lockbox. It may not sound like much, but it took maybe an hour out of my day that could have been spent working with a buyer or marketing a seller’s home. It was important work. Our sellers certainly wanted the sign hung right and the lockbox placed in the best spot. Sometimes, a potential buyer would stop and ask about the new listing as I was doing the work. We asked Stuart to be our property presentation agent and to install the lockboxes.
Stuart could have just done what was asked, and that would have been the end of it. We probably could have just as easily hired a high school student part-time.
