Abstract:
This chapter discusses the clinical research environments in Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. These three countries are catching up with the other Asian countries in terms of their clinical trial infrastructure and know-how to be among the attractive nations for clinical research. This chapter briefly discusses the healthcare system, the disease burden, regulatory environment, evolution of clinical trial regulations and summarises the number of trials in these countries.
