An Eight-Step Ladder to Success
Abstract
In this chapter, we introduce an eight-step methodology for CMDB System deployments, which we call the “Eight-Step Ladder to CMDB System Success.” This eight-part methodology, which has been vetted through numerous consulting engagements, is designed to help CMDB team leaders, stakeholders, and supporting executives participate in a consistent process for assessing, defining, planning, and implementing phase 1 CMDB System deployments. As such, it also serves as an underlying structure for this book.
