Chapter 10. Onsite Activities, Part 3: The Day-to-Day Consolidation of Data
Daily consolidation activities have three primary objectives:
To summarize the information obtained during data-gathering sessions in a relevant and useful way.
To determine from the summarized data whether practices necessary to satisfy categories in the CMM or CMMI are being adequately implemented. This step assembles the pieces of ratings decisions to be made by the team in the last phase of the assessment process.
