At some point in your process improvement effort, although probably not at the beginning, you will want to have some stable infrastructure for this effort, just like you would for any other continuing operation. When you’re ready to approach this, you need to engage in several tasks to ensure you create a sustainable infrastructure.

First of all, you need to find people willing to work on process improvement tasks, and form one or more teams to execute the tasks that we’re laying out in this chapter.
