Creating your Subversion Repository

The value of a source-code revision control system cannot be overstated. It enables distributed development — multiple people can work on code simultaneously without worrying about clobbering one another's work. It takes the risk out of making changes, since you can always see what code changed, when it changed, and who changed it. There is a learning curve to using revision control, but once you get the hang of it, you'll never want to go back to keeping backup zip files or directories again.
