Attaching a User-Defined Tag to an event

One way of using the CMS Made Simple event system is to create User-Defined Tags that handle events. This approach is very powerful, and can be used for a huge range of applications. For example, to improve the content of your site, you might want to know not just what keywords people are searching for, but how many results they are getting. This is an application that can be implemented with a UDT that handles events from the Search module.

This recipe combines such a UDT with module events to write search details to the Admin log. It demonstrates how an administrator can associate a UDT with an event triggered by the Search module using the Event Manager.
