Acknowledgments

In this book, I explore ways of moving through complex systems together. The writing process itself has been enabled by movement between worlds—business schools and design schools, disciplinary knowledge and pragmatic action, and bureaucratic organizations and fluid networks. Each move has led to new conversations about living with complex systems. A catalyst for the book was a combination of professional experiences within public services and higher education.
