This chapter will explore the nature of cooperation in our lives and the implications for co-designing complex systems. The distinctive human power is the imagination, but more uniquely it is the ability to imagine together. It is through the collective imagination that interesting, complex, and inspiring things come into form. Musician Brian Eno coined the term scenius to capture how we imagine and create together.
