If you are going to use facts, numbers, reports, policies, or procedures in your coaching conversations or if you suspect that you may need to produce proof for the PBC, have the necessary documentation handy before the coaching session.
Following are some tips for gathering documentation:
Have facts at the ready that you can point to in difficult moments.
The same is true for data and numbers (spreadsheets, service levels, reports, etc.)
Have key documents (or copies) close by and handy so that when they are needed, searching for them doesn't distract from the conversation.
Compliance policies/regulations should be within reach so that you can provide clarity when needed.
