Where to start the conversation

How many times have you been to a meeting only to find yourself annoyed by the lack of clarity on what you are there to achieve, how you are going to achieve it and total uncertainty on what’s happening next? Our guess is that most of us think we have too many meetings like that. Surprisingly in some ways, this problem is closely linked to a fundamental part of coaching known as contracting. This is where your coaching conversation starts – and we strongly recommend applying this logic to all business conversations.
