How to listen in a way that generates action

Many leaders we work with roll their eyes when we teach listening skills. The irony is that when we ask for a demonstration of good listening, these are the very people who consistently fail to listen beyond the basic everyday version of listening – they consistently miss points and project their own point of view. If you are rolling your eyes now – well, enough said.
