Bpas, established in 1968, uses business science language to describe its destruction of unborn babies – it is providing an affordable service, it is Britain’s largest abortion provider, it provides ‘high-quality’ abortion care, the demand for home abortions is rising, it has a ‘strategy’ for enabling twenty-first-century women to maintain control of their lives, motherhood is merely an ‘option’ and women are free to decide on their own ‘priorities’, abortion is a ‘solution’ for unwanted pregnancies. The mother’s ‘right’ to terminate life inside her womb has become a consumer choice. This organisation audaciously calls itself a ‘national charity’.
