Abstract

Ochratoxin A (OTA) analysis in coffee is complex due to the presence of interfering substances, requiring efficient extraction and clean-up steps. The introduction of immunoaffinity sorbents as a clean-up step was a major advance in OTA cleaning techniques, overcoming interferences, improving selectivity, and allowing the achievement of lower detection limits.
