Monday morning, Dave got a call from Trish Ward, Jim’s assistant.
“Jim wants to see you in his office this morning. Can you meet with him at ten?”
“Sure,” said Dave, surprising himself with his sense of confidence.
Dave had been sending Jim bits and pieces of the Primo report as he went along but hadn’t received any feedback. Now that Jim had the full report, Dave wasn’t sure exactly what to expect as he walked into Jim’s office.
Jim was standing at his window. He turned to Dave and waved a hand toward one of the chairs around his mahogany conference table.
“Have a seat,” Jim said.
