The thirty-five techniques included in Part Three of this handbook provide teachers with specific, practical tools for engaging students in collaborative learning. In some ways, they are like a collection of well-tested recipes. Our goal was to make each collaborative learning technique (CoLT) clear and comprehensive so that teachers new to collaborative learning could follow the procedures precisely and be reasonably guaranteed good results.
