Here is a critical-thinking tip for you: If you try one of the following Web links and you get an error, or it tells you the page can’t be displayed, don’t despair. Sometimes links reference a page that extends past the .com, .net, or .org address. Those file locations to the right of the .com, .net, .org can sometimes change. If you can’t get to the page you want, try erasing any part of the address that appears after the .com, .net, .org, and so on. Suppose you want to get to the following website:

www.howtostudy.com/studtips.htm

This page is supposed to give some great study tips, but all you seem to get is an error message. Delete the /studtips.htm and just use this:

www.howtostudy.com
