The MSMQ Enterprise

An MSMQ enterprise is maintained by various MSMQ controller servers. Controller servers allow multiple MSMQ sites to be connected to form an enterprise. A site is a set of MSMQ servers that can readily and reliably communicate. Each site can consist of one or more connected networks. Connected networks can also span several logical sites. An MSMQ enterprise is woven together through site links managed by MSMQ administrators.

Site Links

Administrators establish site links that allow message traffic to flow between sites. Site links have costs assigned by administrators that allows MSMQ to choose the most efficient route for a message in an MSMQ enterprise.
