Chapter 14. Developing the Interview Guide

After the product development effort receives approval in the Gate 2 project review, the DFSS team will begin the process of Concept Development. The first stage in Concept Development will be planning and preparing for customer interviews by developing the Interview Guide, a short document such as the one shown in Figure 14-3 later in this chapter that assists in the conduct of customer interviews.

In this stage of concept development, customer interviews are conducted in order to gather data from key customers about the needs and requirements for the product being developed.
