There are multiple metrics of growth in each organization. In combination, they present a perspective for the future performance of a project or corporate entity. Multiple factors control the growth rates and perceived performance against the goals they envision. To understand the multiple (and sometimes competing) influences on growth, we will look at both the internal and external forces.
