I am not a perfect communicator. Nor am I the world’s greatest dad.
Don’t get me wrong, I am a loving and devoted father, but just because my younger daughter smiles and calls me the world’s greatest dad every time I bring home her favorite pizza doesn’t make it true. She certainly doesn’t call me the world’s greatest dad each time I remind her to make her bed or pick up after herself. But if I only tallied the times I brought home pizza, I could falsely presume that the greatest dad title is mine.
