CQ2: BALANCING EMPATHY
The intersection of empathy and CQ leads to harmonious relationships.
NBC News recently ran a story about Randy, who was asked to officiate at the wedding of his sister-in-law, Jamie, and her husband-to-be, Brian. He learned that the couple had invited Brian’s niece, an adorable two-year-old girl named Riley, to be the flower girl in the ceremony. He was inspired (as is everyone who meets her) by the joyful nature that emanates from this little girl. He also learned that Riley was born deaf, has cochlear implants, and has been learning American Sign Language (ASL).
