Question (Q): In 2016, RIBA-USA celebrated its 20th anniversary. Can you tell us how, and why, it started?
Jonathan Wimpenny, president emeritus RIBA-USA (JW): RIBA-USA was initiated by Tim Clark in Los Angeles and myself in New York in 1996. This was an independent initiative that was later on adopted by RIBA and is now included in RIBA’s international chapters.
