CHAPTER 12Preparing the Final Output
The mastering role is nearly complete. It’s time to put the recordings in their final format, ready for delivery to the client. These formats include CD, WAV, MP3, and a few others. You should take great care in accomplishing this final step because you are creating something that will be used for manufacturing or distribution. Ultimately, the result of this step will shape the client’s perception of your mastering services.
