Interpret the Results

There are two levels of interpretation of the CDA results.

At the lower level, you can conclude that all 319 terms selected for analysis are important for The Good Wife viewers—otherwise, the viewers would not have selected them. Moreover, some of the terms go together more often than the others. You can see that “bone[s],” “grey ’[s] anatomy,” and “gilmore girl[s]” have something to do with each other (hint: Sean Gunn starred in all three series); “veronica mar[s]” and “firefly” are TV shows that were both prematurely canceled; “music,” ”reading,” and “writing” are popular activities… You can make these mechanistic conclusions without having the slightest idea about the cultural domain.
