Magnetoelectric characterization techniques
Abstract
Techniques for the measurements of the direct and converse magnetoelectric (ME) effects are discussed in this chapter. The direct-ME (DME) measurement techniques, that is, the sample response to an applied magnetic field, include voltage response of the composite to an applied bias magnetic field and a low-frequency ac magnetic field, DME at bending and electromechanical resonance, static magnetic field induced polarization, and magneto-dielectric effects.
