Abstract:
The WiseTex family of models and software provides a generic description of the internal geometry of textile reinforcements, covering a wide range of textile structures – woven (2D and 3D), braided, non-crimp fabric, knitted and stitched. The components of the WiseTex suite simulate properties of textile fabrics and composites on a unit cell level and are used for multilevel micro–meso–macro analysis.
