The traditional rules and guidelines we’ve discussed so far are about composing the picture while you take it. But, now that most people are shooting with a digital camera, you can also postprocess with image-editing software to get that perfect portrait. Like it or not, most of us are not just creating photographs in camera but in the computer as well. Today’s image-editing applications help you out with features that help you maintain—or even create—the composition you hoped for as shown in Figure 38.
