Installing Windows 7

As of this writing, Windows 7 is the most current Windows version available. Like every new operating system, it requires more (newer, better, etc.) hardware than previous operating systems. Make sure the hardware you plan to install Windows 7 on can support the OS.

Checking Hardware Compatibility
The easiest way to see if your current hardware can run Windows 7 is to download and run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor available at:
